If the property that you are interested in states in either the "amenities" section or in the description of the rental listing, either "Accepting HCV's" or "Accepting Housing Choice Vouchers" or "Accepts Section 8 Vouchers." If it DOES NOT state that HCV's or Section 8 is accepted in the rental listing, then HUD/Section 8 will not allow you to rent that property because HUD/Section 8 will not allow the lease to be the controlling legal document between all parties.
